Ordained by Universal Life Church Ministries in January 2026, Minister Christopher Street is a devoted servant of God currently pursuing his Master’s Degree in Biblical Studies at Colorado Christian University. As the CEO of Street Sounds Productions, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing music and arts programming to marginalized communities, he believes in the transformative power of creativity and expression. Additionally, as a composer with the San Francisco Opera Guild, Minister Christopher uses his artistic talents to uplift and inspire others through music, theater, and art.
Minister Christopher’s journey to ministry has been filled with trials and obstacles, yet through it all, God has remained gracious and faithful. He has had the privilege of working with youth, families, and communities, often participating in or leading corporate worship and church services. Nevertheless, he has also struggled to find personal peace in this world. There have been times when he succumbed to his flesh, chasing fleeting opportunities to "experience" life to its fullest, only to feel deep conviction and unfulfillment, questioning whether he was truly living out his life's purpose. Raised in the church, he grappled with doubts about some teachings he received, leading him to either seek answers or rebel against them in his adult life. Yet, in God’s infinite wisdom, he has been provided with opportunities for clarification, understanding, and discernment, and he strives to grow daily in his faith. In addition to his ministry work, Minister Christopher has made significant contributions as an educator, mentor, and civic leader. He has dedicated countless hours to teaching and nurturing the creative potential of others, leading workshops focused on music, arts, and personal development. By mentoring young artists and musicians, he has fostered an environment where creativity can flourish, encouraging them to explore their talents and share their gifts with the world. His passion for civic engagement drives him to participate in community initiatives, advocating for access to arts education and empowering individuals to express themselves through creative avenues. Through singing, teaching, and sharing his experiences, Minister Christopher inspires those around him to embrace their creativity and discover their unique voices. Reflecting on the importance of serving one another, he is reminded of Jesus’ words in Matthew 20:28: “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve.” This truth reinforces his belief that no man is above another, as stated in Galatians 3:28: “There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” It is his desire to grow with others, share the Gospel, and spread the love of Jesus Christ to all. As John 15:12 reminds us, “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.” Minister Christopher humbly asks for prayers as we continue on our paths to grow closer to God through His Son, Jesus Christ. Together, may we seek to embody His grace and love in our lives and in the lives of those we serve. |
